Order, Payment, and Delivery Instructions

In general, but especially for firearms orders we will have to apply for an export license and need a written order (we will gladly e-mail or mail our order form to the customer) and a copy of the customer’s gun license. Both the latter can be submitted via Fax or e-mail. If the customer’s country of origin requires the customer to have an import license for the ordered item (firearms, parts or accessories), we require a copy CERTIFIED by the issuing agency AND English translation thereof, to be sent to us via mail, as it is an obligatory part of the paperwork that we submit to Washington. Customers are also advised that all submitted documents are permanently retained by Washington. Hence, only send us documents which you do NOT require to be returned to you or with the shipment. If you are sending copies of Import Permits, make sure they are officially CERTIFIED.

Quick reference document list for export permit applications:

  • Certified copy and translation of your import permit;
  • Certified copy and translation of your firearms permit;
  • Written order (may use our order form) for the merchandise;
  • Original U.S. form DSP-83 (for semi-auto rifles and when ordering over 50 firearms, please see additional information below)

  Please contact us if your needs or country requirements depart form these general guidelines.

Export of Semi-Automatic Firearms

For the export of semi-automatic firearms, the Office of Defense Trade Controls in Washington, D.C. requires, in addition to the usual export documents, an original and signed Form DSP-83, Non-transfer and Use Certificate.

In order to obtain a DSP-83, please access the U.S. Government website, www.pmddtc.state.gov/docs/dsp83.pdf, and print out this form. If you do not have access to the internet, please contact ETSS by phone, fax, or mail and we will gladly mail the required document to you.

If you are the end-user and you do not require the firearm to be transferred to you via a dealer in your home country, you only need to complete item 7. If your local regulations require the firearm to go to a licensed dealer who then transfers the firearm to you, then item number 6 will also have to be completed by the dealer.

Furthermore, please refrain from completing any field that is not required and also do not make any notes or other marks on the form, as this document is submitted, as an original, to the U.S. Government.

Once this form is complete and signed by all parties required, it must be sent to us via the postal service. Only ORIGINAL documents may be submitted!

If you have any further questions, please email us at etssusa@usa.net, or send us a fax.

Payment and Delivery Instructions

After placing the order, we ask for advance payment. This may be done one of two ways, either by transfer of funds to our account, #466000593 (ABA/Routing #107002147), at Bank of the West, 7995 E. Hampden Ave. Denver, Colorado 80231, or by credit card. For credit card payments we require the type of card, the name printed on the card, the card number, the ID number printed on the back, and the expiration date of the card. When using a credit card, an additional 3% charge will be added to the total amount due. This is still the preferred way of payment for our international customers because a bank does not charge the Dollar Sale Price but the Dollar Middle Course.

Delivery time of firearms is approximately 3-5 weeks. Due to the fact that we have to apply for an export license from the Department of State in Washington for each individual firearms order, lengthier delivery times may be encountered due to Departmental processing times. Also, please be advised that we an exporter, not the manufacturer, and that delivery times on some firearms may be lengthy due to manufacturer back-logs.

Customers are also advised that upon receipt of the merchandise, there will be customs and other taxes due in the designated country. The amount of taxes and duties varies from country to country.

In some locations a firearm will also have to go to a "Proof House" to be proof-tested. There again, this requirement varies between countries.

If you are uncertain or unclear about any aspect of the ordering and permitting process, please contact us at your earliest convenience.

Thank you for choosing ETSS for your international firearms needs!
